OK Time for me to Vent some anger. Marshall at 19-10 and 12-4 in the Conf couldn't get in this. But UNLV who is 14 and 13 can. Or Creighton with an ident. record as Marshall but they lost their last 4, they only got in because they won it last year. Tulsa only had 16 wins, ummm is it because they are a basketball school. Im just a lil POed this team deserved at least 1 of the 32 spots in the WNIT. Back to your regular prgraming.

Look at the names of the three mentioned, Vegas , Creighton, and Tulsa. Well Vegas is Vegas is Vegas regardless of mens or womens hoops, you think they didnt lobby hard to get their girls in , Creighton , known partially due to the mens coach , then Tulsa known for hoops , get mad all you want but Marshall was coming from the MAC , and with leaving the MAC how hard do you really think anyone in the MAC lobbied for Marshall , hell we didnt get help in any sport regardless when we were in the MAC so why would it be any different now considering we are leaving along with the fact that most people realize we are leaving and not fast or soon enough.

All the badmouthing that has gone on over the years some then get mad when we receive no help or have a record better than others that are in the WNIT , call the MAC second rate , the commish an idiot , the other presidents in cahoots to run Marshall down but expect help to get a team in to post season ...come on fellas ..get real

UNLV hasn't had a true winning season since Tark left.
Tulsa has now replaced 3 coaches in 5 years, they aren't what they used to be. And only have 3 NITs to show for it.
And Creighton got in because they won the whole shabang last year.

*What you fail to realize is that Chadwick is one of the most respected Coaches in womens basketball. How Marshall ended up with him I don't know. Im really suprised he's not coaching somwhere in the ACC or SEC. He went 127-14 in 7 seasons at Stephen F Austin. That alone should have gotten us a spot.

Vegas has a past , good or bad but the name recog is there , thus post season

Creighton , again name recog

Tulsa, Name recog

All three had their conferences behind them I would bet, Marshall had no one in all likelyhood , CUSA couldnt help yet and you know the MAC did nothing.

Royce , wanna bet he makes a move within the next 6 weeks. I hope not but I wouldnt be surprised to see him in the SEC next season either. South Carolina is in all likelyhood going to fire the Womens coach very shortly
