Have the inside track* what I should have said er... typed. And yes, I am serious. Should I know who he is? If it's in the affirmative as far as him knowing stuff, is he affiliated with either the program or perhaps the staff of someone who communicates with the program? IF he's just trolling, that's a pretty mundane and tame way of doing it.

EDIT oh, I see. The line under the name implies he's with the press... or possibly just some website that covers the team. Okay, nevermind. Didn't know, never really dedicated time to finding out who's who among the local media.

Gametime is Chad Brendel.... he owns the UC 247 site. With the exception of Mick Cronin himself, nobody has more of an inside track of what is going on with the basketball program.

I have been a member of this board since long before I started covering the team. Just haven't changed my screen name to my real name as it is across the rest of the UC sports world...

I hope there was no miscommunication between the Martins and UC. Even if Kenyon Jr. plays college ball elsewhere, it's important for the university and basketball program to maintain a positive relationship with one of its most successful alums.

If we still haven't offered this kid... A lot of buzz around him right now, his star's going to rise. He's entirely too talented for it not to.

What do you mean by a lot of buzz? Is he getting other offers? Highlight videos are always tough to judge but the kid sure looks the part to me and he seems like the athletic/interchangeable piece that Mick likes. I really don’t like that their seems to be confusion between the two parties about whether or not he’s been offered. Seems like with a legacy kid like that you’d take extra care to make sure both parties are crystal clear where you stand.

I just mean people taking notice in general. Was a high profile game because of Shaq's kid and because of the caliber of the two teams.
Everybody was talking about it and it couldn't have gone unnoticed. That wasn't intended as a highlight video for him, it was supposed to be one for Cassius Stanley and Shareef O'Neal... Really hope we get him. I mean, that part at the 3:15 mark doesn't look like a typical high school junior at all to me.

Does KMJr still not have a committable offer? It is hard to believe that Laquill Hardnett ('18)would have one and KMJr not.
