Seems Iran also launched 2 ballistic missiles yesterday, 1 hitting it's target 150 miles away. Just had that story on Fox News.

Im always surprised that Iran is so far behind N Korea considering the amount of cooperation between the two. I would have figured that N Korea would have sold Iran some really good stuff.

I'm not sure it's as much Iran being behind North Korea as it is North Korea wanting to remind the entire world they still exist every couple months.

Iran has no such desires.

Why don't we use these tests as an opportunity to test our ABM systems? We could station a Ticonderoga class cruiser off each of NK's coasts, and shoot down any missiles being tested.

Fair point which reminds me that a couple of years ago I was talking to an individual that works in intelligence within the defense department. I asked if we could launch a cyber attack on countries like Russia, China and NK. He responded that we could virtually shut down any of those countries but it would be a one time deal. Once we did it, they could figure out a defense and we'd have to develop a new attack vector. As a result, we keep the powder dry for a future time when we may really need it.

China appeases NK because China knows if NK fails China will have a humanitarian crises on it's hands as millions of folks try and cross over the border, etc. China wants none of that.

China appeases NK because China knows if NK fails China will have a humanitarian crises on it's hands as millions of folks try and cross over the border, etc. China wants none of that.

The Chinese are fools then. They should withhold all help until the country collapses and then take over. That would be the easiest land grab ever and if it ensues in a war then no one, I'll bet, will come to No. Koreas defense. No.korea is a thorn in every country's backside including China. We know what we get with China, with NK they're a loose cannon.

That's Chinas decision to make----But then China cant whine when S Korea sets up the THAD anti missile system to protect themselves from a mad man in N Korea.
