Where there is this much smoke, well, there is this much smoke. No, the motive has not been well established. Nothing has been well established. There is a lot of speculation, but no facts.

Jeff Sessions met the Russian ambassador twice, a couple of months apart, one apparently a chance encounter, and that somehow proves collusion with "the Russians"? Really? Seriously?

The left so wants to prove that something nefarious is going on that they--including you, Mach--are overreaching with every factoid that comes up. This is the kind of conspiracy theorizing that Glenn Beck and Rachel Maddow love to do.

Some facts might turn up that would be problematic. But so far, nothing has happened to indicate that they will. What we have is a narrative being fabricated and presented as the final truth, with precious little, if any, indication that there is any truth to it.

Quite frankly, I think improved relations with Russia would be a practical, common sense foreign policy objective. Build the strongest military in the world, by leaps and bounds, and never have to use it, because nobody dares pick on us and we don't go meddling in anybody else's business. Improved relations with Russia would be entirely consistent with that goal.
