They should have bait train cars to catch these jack asses. Once they are in the car, the door closes and the train continues on its way. It also helps getting these gang members out of Chicago.

In the sections leading up to that, I was expecting far more...like thousands. I bet there are more than 150 guns stolen out of Chicago homes each month.

Exactly what I was thinking. There are an estimated 300 million guns in the US. Hard to get to worked up over 150. Pretty sure any violent gang in Chicago has access to plenty. The only gun I'm ever really concerned about is one pointing at me.

The amount of guns stolen could be higher. The real amount could be suppressed. Whether to not cause a panic or another Fast and Furious operation screw up, anything is possible.

there really should have been better counter theft precautions on those guns.

No wonder criminals can always get guns when they don't even protect freight cars full of guns. Sad.

I had no idea they shipped firearms via rail.

I mean now that I know they do it makes sense because firearms are simply freight, but strike me as slightly surprised for no other reason that I never knew they shipped firearms via rail.
