Do any of the Marshall fans have anymore information on why he was cut by Montreal? He seemed like a great player for them.

It was a combo of things. First, Montreal got an entirely new front office / GM / coaching staff. They went and got CFL veteran Darian Durant who is considered one of the top experienced QBs in the CFL. Cato got labeled as inconsistent in the league, ending up slightly under .500 as a starter, had several injuries, etc. He had a blowup in a practice with two of the top WRs that seemed to fracture relationships in the locker room. I think it's a case of him having potential but still continuing to be inconsistent and not leading the locker room after being given multiple chances to be "the guy" over the past several years.
