Saw him on campus yesterday. His brother was driving him around, I assume giving him a tour.

Think 87 meant to type a "W" (now) instead of a "T" (not). Maybe it's just subconscious but maybe Lopes aren't use to seeing W's just yet. 03-wink 05-stirthepot BTW, good pick up. Majerle is making it difficult for Jans to keep NMSU ahead of the pack.

This is HUGE. Not just for GCU but for the WAC.

Too bad NMSU is losing all these players while GCU just took another major step forward. Would have been great to see them both "elite" WAC teams this year

Its going to be easy for other schools to pass NMSU. All Jans has done is lose two players and have a possible JC transfer cancel on him.

The way things are going elite is a word you will not be using with NMSU too much longer.

I think next year will be a sort of down year of sorts for NMSU. Still should win 20 games. Right now I think the big 3 finish 1 GCU, 2 CSUB and 3 NMSU. Jans will have them rolling again in 2018.

You are more optimistic than most aggie fans.

RE: GCU Incoming Transfers
Players transferring after a new coach is hired outside the program is very common. Jans recruited Ron Baker and on top of that he is an excellent X's and O's coach, one Aggies fans have been wanting. As long as Chuha, AJ Harris, LJ and Jones stay you will still be a pretty good team. I don't think it's all doom and gloom unless other Aggies fans have some inside info on whether those guys will be leaving or not. If any of those guys leave then I would probably pull the alarm.

NMSU is still loaded and will be the favorite to win the WAC in 2017/2018.

Weir hit the reset button on the Aggie program when he left. Jans has NOTHING to do with that. Some Aggie fans want to hold Jans accountable for the last three weeks of bad news but Jans was hired for the long haul. These three weeks will not define him.

Case in point, Menzies first recruiting class at UNLV was just to put a team on the court. He was targeting this second recruiting class to be the one that set his program in the right direct.

There is no use for some Aggie fans to cry over spilled milk. The damage is done. Jans will make the changes he needs to make to have a successful program. It might not be this season but I have confidence he will have NMSU back on top in no time.

You would still think that even if every player on the roster left lol
