It looks like German and Dutch sides are trying to sign a lot of our young players. I rather them go to those countries than to premier league teams.

Zardes has zero pace. He can’t be amongst the best strikers. Weah or Sargent?

Survive and advance? I guess that's about all we can take from the Curacao match.

Messi isn't going to win anything in an Argentina shirt. Sad.

The team played better but he was pissed afterwards. Haven't ever seen him vocalize his anger like that before. Oh well, there's another Copa next year year.

There were 2 penalties that Argentina shouldve had including one that led to the counter attack for the 2nd Brazil goal.

Quick question, I only watched the 2nd half but was Angel di Maria as bad in the first half as he was in the 2nd half? He killed more Argentine attacks than the entire Brazilian backline in the 2nd half.

Di Maria came on as a Sub early in the 2nd half for Marcos Acuna who was on a yellow card. You are correct in that Argentina should have had two penalties. The Argentine players and coaches were livid about the ref and VAR crew and they had every right to be.

The men need to play a totally different game tonight to beat Jamaica. I wish we had a dependable striker on the squad.

The foul against Otemendi in the box was egregious. Straight up shoulder to the face with no attempt to play the ball. How that isnt looked at by VAR I just dont understand.

From what I've read, CONMEBOL has a history of favoring the host nation team during Copas.

They do but the hope was that VAR would make it less blatant. Arthur just straight up body checked Otamendi. In every place on earth except Belo Horizonte that is a PK and a yellow card.

Up 1-0 in Severe Weather Delay. I think Altidore has helped immensely so far.

My least favorite thing in sports is a weather delay. Makes it an entirely different game.

Its really amazing how much better Pulisic was than everyone else on the field last night. And honestly, it had nothing to do with the goals. They were both rebounds off of poor GK play.

His ability to see the field before the ball gets to him is probably his best attribute and its was on full display last night. Multiple times his positioning and first touch put him beyond the one or two defenders draped on him. It was fun to watch.

On another note, I still can't believe Zardes gets on the field. His giveaway started the move on Jamaica's goal and he lost possession so many times. Not even to mention the sitter he missed by 10 yards. Altidore isnt Brazilian Ronaldo but hes so much better than soccer's Simon Phoenix.

I give a lot of props to Reggie Cannon. He made good things happen there. I really like the younger players on the squad. A little more polish and hardiness and this is a golden generation.

Lampard wants some youth in the Chelsea regulars, bodes well for pulsic and his growth through competition.

Sunday is going to be great for soccer watching! World Cup Final, Copa America Final, Gold Cup Final. Let's go USA and hopefully Peru can pull off a miracle against Brazil.
