Odds of New Castle signing Pochettino? Apparently lots of Saudi money on the horizon.

Leave it to the Bundesliga. The Bundesliga season resumed to empty seats last weekend, and it continues this weekend. However, some stadiums have life-sized cutouts of fans in the stands.

As a fund raiser, they offered fans a chance to pay to have their image put on seats as the games are being televised. All proceeds go to charities. Brilliant!!

Yep. His window is wide now. The smallest job I could see him taking is Bayern or something like that (and they aren't gonna be open).

I personally think that he'll end up at either PSG. He's a former player. Real could've happened if this season had gone as planned and Zidane left after the season. Now, I think Zidane holds on for another season.

Also, Poch wants to manage the Argentine national team at some point but I don't think we wants that yet.

When do the other leagues get back up and running, or do they wait for the fall?

I think La Liga, Prem, and Serie A are starting back in June.

English Championship (2nd division) will return 3 weeks from yesterday on June 20th - several days after the announced return of June 17th for the Premier League.

All have announced Mid June restart dates

EFL Championship announced a June 20th restart today. The promotion playoff race in that division is very tight, so it doesn't surprise me they voted to resume.

La Liga starts back June 11 with one match. Looks like Premier League is June 17 with two matches and Seria A is June 19 with one match.

Looks like Timo Werner to Chelsea. I see some Liverpool fans whining and already back to blaming FSG, despite the fact that we have the best squad in the world at the moment. They need to remember that Liverpool have never been a club like Madrid or Barcelona, where they can just go out and hand pick who they want. We’ll get our fair share, but we’re also going to miss out on plenty.

His wage demands were unrealistic for Liverpool when you have the front line you currently have. Werner is good and young but he isn't an upgrade NOW on Salah, Mane, and Bobby.

Yesterday was a sad day for 2 clubs that were playing Premier League football just 8 years ago.

With England's League One (3rd Division) voting to end their season yesterday, Bolton was relegated to League Two after finishing at the very bottom of the table. They started the season with a 12 point deduction after going into administration a year ago.

Higher up the table, Sunderland officially finished the year a disappointing 8th, failing to qualify for the promotion play-offs. Having been the largest and richest club in League One by some margin over the past 2 seasons, it will be considered a massive disappointment for the northeast club not to gain promotion to the Championship on their 2nd try and lose out on a playing in a league that is 1) much more likely to resume play next season and 2) would sustain the club financially by leaps and bounds.

Yeah, but look at old Portsmouth...looks like they qualified for the playoffs for promotion.

One step closer to seeing a PROPER South Coast Derby in the Premier League again.

Both my sons are big-time Bayern Munich fans. They're going to love this.

Bolton should've hired me as manager. I took them to promotion to the championship in my first try even with the 12 point deduction in Football Manager. I bought Charlie Daniels and Oliver Skipp in the summer transfer market and now have them comfortably mid table half way through the first season in the Championship.

But, you are still living in the past with Fire 'Arry....the guys gone...long gone...it's OK, Spurs still wet the bed every time they get a chance to do something big. Just accept it...it's life.

La Liga resumed yesterday with the Sevilla/Real Betis Derby. Apparently La Liga has teamed up with EA Sports to insert CGI fans in the stadium. Kind of looks like a 90's computer game crowd. Sometimes it lags and you can see the empty seats before the graphics kick in. The league is also pumping in crowd noise that varies with what happens on the pitch. Both seem to work OK and help to hide the fact the match is played in an empty stadium.
