No Hood was saying his first election was in 2000.

D.C. has never voted red. They've been able to vote for a President since 1964 and have always voted Democratic. Their 'winning' percentage of 42 percent or so is the worst of any state or district in the country.

what? I was 21 in 2000. that was my first election. I wish I could have voted for Reagan.

George HW Bush 1988. I was old enough to understand the realities of Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, and voted accordingly for the Texan over the Massachusetts liberal.

First election I remember was Reagan/Mondale 84. My first vote was for Dole in 96.
