Mayweather - McGregor
August 26th is the fight in Las Vegas. Until then, let the hype begin. I will not be one of the persons choosing to pay around $100 to watch it on PPV. My prediction is McGregor will get some shots in early in the fight but Mayweather is a professional, experienced, world champion boxer for a reason. He will eventually knock out or TKO McGregor. Both men walk away making many, multiple millions.

Want McGregor to beat the everliving snot out of Mayweather, but Floyd the former will probably just win in a boring, overhyped fight like always. Definitely won't pay $50 or whatever it is for PPV.

I think McGregor can take hits from Mayweather. I think if McGregor can go crazy on him in some way he'll break Mayweather and win. I just hope McGregor can remember its BOXING and not MMA.

RE: Mayweather - McGregor
Considering it's a boxing match with boxing rules, Mayweather should win pretty comfortably.

That being said, if this were a fight or done with MMA rules, McGregor would kick his ass.

In the end, I get the feeling there will be a whole lot of people buying this only feel a couple hours later that they've just been ripped off.

Yep. Mayweather is a horrible human being so I'd love nothing more than to see McGregor knock him out, or even just hurt the guy. But have you seen McGregor's boxing? It's laughable. And Mayweather is a defensive master - maybe the best of all time. The only chance McGregor has, and it's a slim one, is to goad Mayweather into going for a KO. If Floyd makes some terrible mistakes, McGregor's got a brawler's chance.

This thing is being promoted by PT Barnum. I learned not to pay for fights after the Tyson-Holyfield debacle. No way I'd put down money (I think it's gonna be $100) to watch a poorly trained boxer go up against a guy who is the best in the game at avoiding hits.

RE: Mayweather - McGregor
McGregor isn't a boxer. Period. Mayweather might well be the best boxer ever in his weight class.

Mayweather hasn't knocked anybody out in over a decade, but over the last decade he has been fighting other boxers.

Mayweather is either going to make EXTREMELY short work of McGregor, or it is going to be an incredibly boring unanimous decision in favor of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Take that to the bank.

McGregor is the king of head games. He has even sucked in troll Draymond Green...

Quote:When it comes to the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather debate, Draymond Green has made it loud and clear where he stands.

The Warriors All-Star forward responded to a photo of McGregor in a Warriors No. 23 jersey by posting the photo on Instagram with a caption that read: "We rocking with Floyd bro not you...take that off bruh."

Draymond, who wears the same number seen by McGregor on social media, was happy to tell the MMA star to kick the can as a Mayweather supporter. But McGregor clapped back on his post by saying that the No. 23 jersey actually belonged to C.J. Watson, and suggesting that he "keep hustling and stay in school."

Why would McGregor wear a Watson jersey if he's not a basketball fan?

The MMA star is heckling Mayweather's domestic violence history. Via USA Today:

Mayweather spent time in prison for battering Josie Harris, mother to three of his children, in September 2010. Having split with Harris, she says he entered her home in the middle of the night and was infuriated to find messages from NBA player C.J. Watson on her phone. Mayweather's son Koraun, then 10, told the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department that he had seen his father on top of Harris -- hitting and kicking her.

Conor is King
