I have heard we can expect as many two more major announcements in the next couple of weeks. McCaw. Rocks.

Great job to the athletic department for getting these games. It is an exciting time to be a fan of the Flames.

Pure speculation but I believe that is highly likely.

It's very smart to schedule these regional fbs schools. Tech and UVA know it's an easy drive to Lynchburg for their fans. Same with some of those schools in the Raleigh Durham area. UNC, NC State, Duke, Wake all make perfect sense for their fans. I won't be surprised if we hear something with ECU for future dates.

This just blows away all the rhetoric that has been said many times by mostly SBC fans. The majority of SBC fans have consistently trashed LU's FBS attempt, indy success, indy schedule and LU's success at achieving FBS. I had to chuckle reading a recent SBC post about Coastal and their hope to have 15,000 per game when they have their stadium expansion complete and FBS teams coming to play. That's 15,000 as a goal. And of course the Coastal fans are the ones clubbing LU with the biggest stick on the SBC board. The smaller part of me wants to gloat on their board with the success of the LU schedule, but the better part of me says to remain calm. That's way more cool and wise.

Na, as much as that board trashed Liberty and the mods allowed it, I say let them have it.

The SBC posters are mostly haters. They are small like minded schools that would leave their conference in a heartbeat, but are stuck with each other. They are who they are and more power to them. LU will just keep proving them wrong over and over again like we have been.

I've noticed it's mostly Coastal fans that have the most venom. Fortunately, LU is not limping along on FB attendance and hoping to average 15,000 per game as Coastal. The short term FBS/SBC invite gloat for Coastal fans has rapidly been overshadowed by LU's indy waiver and FBS scheduling. It's equal to a brain fart response to say LU is better off in the SBC that it's position now. Oh, and Coastal fans are some mean beach chickens.
