Maybe it was slightly before my time but I never got into the death wish movies. Hopefully Bruce pulls this off.

I watched them all via Netflix a few years ago. The first one was legit but the others ... ehhh.... kind of like American Ninja...fell off after the first one.

Eh, not a good idea imo. Even if Charles Bronson was an action guy, you could buy him as a regular dude pushed to the limit in crime-ridden 70s New York. Even in Bruce Willis' non-action roles he looks like he's ready to punch a guy, and he hasn't been on much of a hot streak lately. Plus I'm not much of an Eli Roth fan, and the fact he wants to do a 'fun' version of a dark and grizzly movie suggests that this isn't gonna end well.

Seems that today's lack of originality means just about anything is open to remaking.

That being said, saw the trailer and it's hard not to like Bruce Willis shooting at bad guys.

There's been many a movie that's done less with more.
