98% of us on our board expected a win, most of them an easy win.

Turned out we were right. Was not a surprise at all. Don't flatter yourselves in thinking we were caught off guard by this win.

The only surprising thing is the score was as close as it was.

You kids still here after the game shows how much it means to you. Beating a Big Boy team is a big deal. No shame in that. Enjoy!

We had to find you somewhere, cause you all disappeared from the stadium fast on Saturday and have been MIA on our board as well since the game ended.

This this this a thousand times this. I expected better from a Power 6 school. So disappointing.

You won, won big, outclassed us on the field, now be classy, enjoy your win and go home.

Steelbeard - The ECU when isn't even a top 10 win for JMU's program. We were favorites. It will be forgotten about until ESPN talks about it when College Gameday visits JMU in Oct. You guys aren't that special. Also name one transfer that you described that played against ECU? You can't so no need to make up lies to make you feel good about being a bad G5 team.

Yes, I am pissed. Not at JMU but our administration and our coaching staff. Our boys were not ready to play on Saturday and that is inexcusable. Maybe that is due to JMU being the best thing since sliced bread, but I doubt it. You guys beat the hell out of us and we weren't competitive. That is what I am mad about. Our offense sucked, our defense sucked, our special teams, meh. I see no silver lining to our loss and I don't expect a win this season. Who knows, maybe we slip up on a UConn or Tulane, but that may be our only opportunities.

Mo must Go....And put Compher on the plane to anywhere else with him.

Now JMU fans, go win another FCS title and leave us to stew in our own misery.

EC-Yew (0-1)

On Saturday afternoon, I was standing in the tunnel as the Oklahoma Sooners ran off the field following their 56-7 shellacking of UTEP. I was looking at scores on my phone and had just seen that East Carolina was already down 7-0 to James Madison. Suddenly and perfectly coincidentally, I got a poke, a wink and a point from new Sooners assistant coach Ruffin McNeill as he walked by. The good people of Greenville, North Carolina, rightfully rank his firing from ECU somewhere between root canals without Novocain and mustard-based barbecue.
