Baylor Game Thread
What are your thoughts, predictions, feelings and more going into the Baylor game? Do you think Liberty has a chance?

A chance? A very small one. Everything has to go right because of the talent gap. LU keeps it respectable but Baylor never really worries.

Baylor 35
Liberty 20

I'll be really happy if we keep it to two TDs as you suggest.

I'm thinking more along the lines of 45-20. But I'm hoping for a much closer outcome, or shoot, a win for us.

I just hope I can figure a way to eventually see the game.

It's on FS2, do a 7 day free trial of Sling Orange, which has that channel.

FS2 Ch 149 on the DishTV Network, find a sports bar with DishTV hook up
anything under 17 would be respectable
hope its tight for at least 3 quarters

Does anyone know where I'll be able to live stream the game online?

The FoxSports Go app. I have it on Roku.

RE: Baylor Game Thread
Quick search online shows BU favored 45-10, and 35-20.

I guessing LU keeps it respectable and BU moves away in the 4th quarter for a 42-24 win.

Easier said than done. I am in Daegu, South Korea... with only 6 AFN TV channels... but I do have internet and an iPhone. So, I guess there's that.

If the game can be within two scores, I take it as a success. If for some reason the Sun, Moon & Stars all line up correctly and we pull off a win, then 04-jawdrop

Welcome to the board. LUinPA.

Within 2 scores would reduce the naysayers looking to bash LU with unworthy FBS candidates. Pressure is on Gill this year for wins. Blowout loses will be less tolerant than close losses with the easier 2017 schedule compared to the 2018 schedule.

I'm in Iraq and I can stream it on Fox Sports Go. So here is what you need to do. Get a paid VPN service not a free one. I recommend Express VPN. Download the express VPN iPhone app. Connect the VPN then sign up for sling blue and orange. Download the sling app, WatchESPN, Fox Sport Go. When you want to watch WatchESPN or fox sports go or channels on the sling just connect your VPN and watch. Signing up for Sling Blue and Orange will give you access to all the sports apps.

It's also important that you don't get a free vpn service. Free might work well in the states but overseas the latency and reduced throughput of a free service will make your live sports events unwatchable. This is why I strongly recommend a paid service. And just so I'm not making any assumptions please connect your VPN to a USA server. The GUI is easy so that will be easy to figure out.

I think Liberty can keep it close. Will they? I think so. I would hope that the team learned from playing Virginia Tech last year and will be ready for the quality of opponent and the hostile environment. Being within two scores (around 16 points give or take) would be a major "win" in my book.

Slap me around later...but I think Gill is here to stay for the near future, at least through the transition years. I understand the reasoning behind dropping him but if you use the same equation for why he should be replaced now, then he would have been sacked at the end of the 2015 following the embarrassing loses with a much better team than the Playoff year.

I'm simply enjoying the ride for now. SO much has changed in such a short time its hard to keep it all together. Besides, keeping Gill for now will show the "concerned LU follower" that we are not compromising nor changing our schools purpose for a trophy. Gill is the exact embodiment of what our school stands for in regards to primary focus and vision of Falwell Sr.

The wins will come, don't worry....maybe even this weekend!

I'm just glad we are out of the Summer Dog Days, and back into the FOOTBALL SEASON.

I actually watched the VT game on YouTube the other day, and I certainly hope they are better prepared for this weekend. It was embarrassing to watch the Penalties and False Starts in the first half. I think the key for tomorrow will be "Buckshot." This is his chance to prove his worth and all the hype that's surrounded him since he stepped foot onto the field last year.

I truly think he is an FBS quality QB and I feel much more confident with him steering the ship than what Masha has shown last year at VT.

Although, come late Saturday night, I may be eating all these words.....
