Harbaugh not happy with shabby visitor accommodations at Purdue
He called out Purdue for "gamesmanship that's unsportsmanlike"...

The no AC in visitor locker room was a big deal>#Michigan staffers told me SAT that on a day when temp was in 90s, it was like 110+ in there

I was told it was so sweltering in the visitor's locker room #Michigan staff had their team go back onto their busses in pre-game.

All that damn money from the B10 media contract and Purdue can't upgrade the visitor's locker room?

The SEC dealt with these issues under Slive. We set standards for all of these kinds of things and those joining the conference had to meet these standards.

It's probably time for the Big 10 to get rid of any form of gate sharing and to impose minimum standards for all venues.

I don't particularly like Harbaugh's bluster, but he's right to complain about this.

Pathetic on Purdue's part. Makes them look like a welfare recipient who's just in the B1G to collect the check.

I completely agree.

If the B1G is going to make it a point to go around telling everyone how much money they're making, the LEAST they can do is set standards requiring facilities to meet minimum requirements.

If the B1G wants to make the argument to potential recruits that they're one of the big boys, they need to act like it, and part of that is having high-end facilities.

He's right to complain about it. He just shouldn't have done it publicly.

Whining Harbaugh might well replace the Crying Jordan....

The reality issue Purdue provides the same accommodations for every conference and non conference team that visits.

Unless the AC just happened to be broken down, tough luck Jimbo, I don't see a problem.

Jimmy needs to remember he's not in California anymore. My question is why haven't other Big Ten teams complained?

Purdue and Wisconsin have long been known as skinflints. Purdue doesn't even have permanent lights on its football field. When I started there in 2011, Purdue's facilities for many nonrevenue sports (particularly softball, baseball, and track) were literally worse than my high school's. Although since then they've built new stadiums for softball, baseball, and tennis since then that are pretty decent.

But Purdue's basketball arena is THE best arena I've ever been to.

Paruresis (can't pee in public restroom) and parcopresis (can't poop in public restroom) are real. The struggle continues.

In light of what's going on at Louisville, this doesn't seem that bad.
