MyBB Vegas odds on next head basketball coach at Louisville.
Vegas released odds on the next head coach for us....They provide odds to darn near everything so why not this.

Cronin 6/1
B. Williams 8/1
C. Mack 8/1 -- Would be my 2nd choice
A. Enfield 10/1
K. Davis 10/1
S. Smart 10/1 -- Would be my top choice
F. Hoiberg 12/1
G. Marshall 12/1
S. Wojciechowski 14/1 -- Would be my 3rd choice

I would imagine they hire someone totally clear of Pitino's shadow. Cronin would be out then.

I don't see Louisville taking Texas's coach.

Louisville probably isn't going to be getting anyone you've heard of before. They're facing multiyear NCAA penalties -- probably more than two years. They'll have to be squeaky clean in the future. It's pretty obvious that in the past Louisville thought it would be impossible to win without cheating. Louisville probably won't have that much money to pay anyone. Ticket sales and contributions will drop off dramatically. The ACC may withhold some revenues. No name coach is stepping into this situation.

They just need to shut down the program for a few years. Take a step back and figure out ethics, integrity, and take time to focus on preventing sex crimes in their athletics program.

There will be an interim in place for this season, and come March there will be serious discussion with actual candidates. I honestly hope they steer clear of any and all Pitino protege for we need a fresh start with someone new.

Yeah, we need to sit back for a year, hire new AD & see who's left standing after the smoke has cleared. Don't see Pitino as the only one to be fired.

I'm amazed that Vegas has the HC at one of the schools involved in the original indictments on their list.

Maybe a shoe company exec and players should bet on which coach you hire next. What could go wrong?
