And with regards to this FBI investigation, what is known now is just scratching the surface of this scandal so fans of teams would be wise to stop throwing stones.

That said, around the league, and the entire NCAA, there is quite a bit of self-introspection to be done and a lot of sewage to mop up.

Ain't happening. The ACC should hammer them and move on. The problem is everyone just about in this conference has some dirt on their hands, now not nearly as bad as Louisville. But even ND is on probation now.

With this FBI Probe-(Remember Recruit 12 is apparently Nassir Little-150K bidding war with Miami/Arizona)...just committed to UNC.

No I'm not throwing dirt at UNC-(and I feel Louisville should be hammered by the NCAA/ACC) but pointing out this very well could be the tip of the iceberg.

If this goes 10-20 power schools deep the NCAA has a real problem... lot's of ramifications for all.

We just might get a David St. Approved Final Four

Louisville must really be feeling the heat.
The Cardinals didn't do themselves any favors when they named Rick Pitino's assistant David Padgett as their interim head coach. Promoting a deputy Fox to guard the same hen house is no way to boost confidence that the program will be heading in another direction.

This isn't over, and it's going to get ugly.
Louisville just lost Carolina's vote.

Lance,Lance.... you are sourcing the Lexington -Herald, by now the only 2 schools the University of Kentucky fans hate more than Louisville are North Carolina and Duke. We stopped worrying about what UK writers and Fans say about Us years ago. They carry zero weight. Louisville Fans do not hate North Carolina or Duke. We take out Our frustrations anymore on Michigan State whom have knocked Us out of multiple NCAA tournaments in recent years. 04-cheers

Louisville on the way out?
Didn't NC just pickup a commitment from one of the recruits listed in the FBI report? The recruit that Miami & Arizona was bidding on?

Hard to tell if that's bad news or good news for UNC. If the kid backed away from two schools already implicated in the scandal, do you think he would jump right back in to take cash from another school that's already under a spotlight so quickly?

If so, are the people throwing the cash around that brazen, or just that stupid?

For schools that have not been paying players it is going to be a recruiting bonanza.

You are talking about the school that despite ample evidence of systematic institutionalized academic fraud claims they are innocent.

Any student caught up in a recruiting payola is tainted and should be ineligable for at least 2 years. The student and family or guardian likely had their hand out openly wanting cash for the committment. Maybe they can be eligible to play Division 2 only

I feel bad for these 17-18 year old kids who are being used as a lottery ticket by their families...

No chance.

Look, I think Louisville is a dirty program – maybe the dirtiest program in the country? Certainly they’d be on any shortlist. However, they have provided exactly what the ACC was looking for when Maryland defected, so no, they are not going anywhere.

At this point no argument from this Louisville fan...the only silver lining with what happened is a opportunity to Right the ship and become a Program with integrity

Define "program" for me because there are an awful lot of people within an Athletic Department and the University supports 22 men's and women's sports. How broad is the brush you are painting with?
