Florida vs A&M will be much closer. The Gators are mad now.
Auburn should be very careful regarding LSU. These kids are playing to keep their coach. Your other picks look good. 04-cheers

Gonna be a close game at the swamp. If our guys play half as hard as they did against Bama then we will actually pull this one out and come home with the W!

I'm looking at your schedule and seeing 9-3. This one is a W.

Auburn always has to be cautious in Baton Rouge. The best thing going for us off of the field is the time of the kickoff. We have had much better success in day games down there than in night games.

I'll take Miss State over the broken bicycle but a bit closer than some think.
Tennessee had the week off. Vols in an upset.
Auburn should win but there's always been voodoo on this game. Auburn but close.
Vandy has a D. Ole Miss has an O. It's in Oxford so Ole Miss wins.
A&M enjoys Gator nuggets. This will be the season ender for a truly bad Gators team.
Alabama returns to the 50 plus points column.
Poor Missouri, the Dawgs chomp.

MSU over BYU--BYU on 3rd string QB. Season is over for them.
Tennessee over SC. I give Tenners the home win
Auburn over LSU. Auburn too much for a motivated LSU
V over Ole Miss--Boats over landsharks
A&M over Florida--Florida has been lucky and terrible this season. Aggy kilts 'me.
Tide over hogs--pray that Saban leaves enough meat on the hogs to finish the season
Dawgs over Tiger--Mizzou might put up some points but it won't be close

Auburn @ LSU - And burn in a close one

Vandy @ Ole Miss - Vandy wins

Vol fans seem a little too down on their team. Makes me nervous.

Part of it is the desire to see Butch completely fail. It will be hard to fire him if he pulls out a 9-3 season. The other part is that the Vols can only out athlete opponents at this point; UTK can easily be out coached.

I think SCAR is even with us talent wise and Muschamp is smart enough just to follow the Dawgs blueprint of simply grinding the game out on the ground.

I hope you're right.

South Carolina's offense is sputtering hard though, our 48 points was very deceptive. 24 were directly off of turnovers, another TD was a fluke last minute drive, and another was after the Hawgs had essentially given up.

If South Carolina can find a way to get up 10-0 or 17-7 early on I can totally see Tennessee just quitting. But the longer it remains even the more the advantage goes to Tennessee.

I hope you're happy Gamecock. It was an ugly game to watch, but SCAR was able to hold on.

RE: Week 7 action
Since TN expects to lose to Bama, Butch Jones will spend the week on the hot seat, but it will be muted. The hot seat will grow very hot depending on the outcome of the KY game. 3-5 in the SEC + 4 wins OOC is 7-5 overall, with a strong bowl win perhaps giving him another year, since this was a transition year between QBs. 2-6 (with a loss to KY) or especially 1-7 (loss to KY and Vandy) may be too much to overcome. 0-8 would be the first team TN loses 8 games in a season and certainly be the end.

Again, I like Butch as a person and hate to see anyone fired. With Butch, I would certainly expect him to be able to land a MAC job or a decent coordinator job somewhere, mostly so he can recruit for that team, but still hard to root for a firing on a personal level.

He and Bret are in the same boat; great personalities and caring individuals but they are not getting the results in a win-loss business.

I honestly think the KY game decides his fate. Rationale: He wins at KY, then he could theoretically win out, beating USM, Missouri, LSU (more ups and downs than the Vols, but beatable in theory at least; giving him his first victory of a western team), and Vandy, that makes him 4-4 in the SEC, 8-4 overall, and another 9-4 season with a bowl win. At the beginning of the season, most Vol fans would have taken that given that we were starting a new QB.

On the other hand, if TN thinks Butch is not the coach of the future, losing to KY gives them an excuse to fire him before the schedule "eases" up and the Vols are suddenly the hot team. So the "interim" could come in and play the final four games. They go 4-0, he takes them to a bowl, TN can say "it was clearly coaching, and now look, we can go grab...." fill in the blank. Or if they go 1-3, TN can still say "the team lost their coach, we knew it was going to be rough, but look, now we have" fill-in-the blank, coming in.

of course we have to start scoring TDs first.

I am speechless Jr. The LSU kids are playing to keep their coach and that is always dangerous for the opposing team.04-jawdrop

A nice win tonight for the Aggies. The Florida uniforms were unusual to say the least. But, apparently they didn't help them.

I didn't feel good about this game before it started and the first half didn't calm me any. Second half was a much better performance but there's still a lot of holes on this team. I guess Sumlin's job is safe for a couple more weeks though.

Aggies could be underdogs against Auburn and LSU, and could easily drop a game to one of the Mississippi schools (if not both) as well. I don't think Sumlin's job is safe at all, but this game certainly helps his prospects.
