Am I saying we will beat WSU? NO. But we sure as hell aren't going to be a pushover, especially at home.

Who said pushover? I think we beat Tulsa twice, but I didn't say steamroll. Don't read stuff that isn't there.....

I see 3 losses.

Bet?

I've been consistent with my 5 loss prediction. Not sure why it rattles you so much...

You said 3 of those first 9.
I said bet.
You’re now back pedaling.

Defection indeed.

Nope. I still see 3 losses. Who blindly agrees to a bet without knowing what is being bet? That's just dumb.

Well I’ll slow it down for the challenged.

You said you see at least 3 losses in those 9 games. I’m saying 2 or less. I can’t subject you with the details of the bet unless you are interested in actually backing up what came from your instaspout finger tips. So are you interested in backing up what you typed out or maybe second guessing yourself and not so confident?

Stop pussyfooting around. We steamroll Tulsa more often than we play them competitively. We're gonna steamroll a lot of AAC teams this year. We're also gonna lose a couple close games. These are the facts. Any other result is a huge upset based on the opinions of the entire United States of America.

Grow some balls and talk like you have faith in your team. You have all the prognosticators on the planet (except for a couple AAC coaches) on your side. If you can't take a bet with those odds, I don't know how you even risk getting out of bed in the morning... falling meteorites are damned dangerous!

P.S. What's the worst that can happen? We lose a couple games we shouldn't and csnbbs.com comes and takes away your posting card? Sack up and stop kneeling for the enemy.

Two would be the MAX and a sure sign that trouble may be brewing. We're losing zero of the listed home games and 3 of the road games will be played in a mausoleum-like atmosphere. The only road game I see that's potentially dangerous is the UCONN game because they will have a decent crowd and it will be their Super Bowl with HuskU and UCorn Husk down on the floor screaming their little lungs out.

You heard me right boys... Super Bowl. 03-shhhh 07-coffee3

The Shockers are turrible on the road... just turrible.

Quote:We’ve established that the Shockers are great at home, but how has their road record been over the last few years?

Well to say they are elite on the road would be an understatement. Simply put, Wichita State has been the most dominant road team in the country since 2009, according to Team Rankings. Not just top ten, not just top five: Number One. During that time frame their 72-21 record on the road is the best in the country.

Of those road games only 28 were against top 100 RPI teams. The Shockers had a 16-12 record in those games...

In the current makeup of the AAC (3 years) the league had 6,6,4 RPI top 100 teams. Not counting WSU, the MVC has been (2,2,1)...

We're #1 bro... for the last 8 years. Feel free to post a school that has done better.

P.S. If you really looked up the RPI on every single one of our road opponents since 2009... kudos to you!

P.S.S. If you would kindly post your source for historical RPI schedule results I'd appreciate it.

Winning on the road is tough but on average it is going to be much tougher in the AAC. Last year, AAC had a down year in RPI. Even with that, Temple played 10 conference road games and the average RPI was 121. WSU played 9 conference road games last year with an average RPI of 187.

I used realtimerpi.com just because it is easy to navigate year to year.

I’ll tell ya what. Since you’re the one that seems a bit shaky on your original statement, I’ll let you name the stakes.

I couldn't find the year-to-year link. So much clickbait/deception on that site.

Winning on the road in conference where the opposition knows everything from the color of your underwear to what seasoning you like on your pregame steak is very tough. Our first year on the road in the AAC will be magnitudes easier than the second when everybody will have learned our schtick and can somewhat prepare for the "Angry"...

The Shocker's virgin tour of the AAC will be met with a lot of WTF JFC I had no idea... The intensity of our style will be an eye-opener to most.

Cue: butthurt Cincy fan that thinks they are the RUFFEST team on the planet!

Cue their one Sweet 16 in 300 years also. Real TUFF. 07-coffee3

Nah. I bet with an ECU fan just a few months ago. He actually named the stakes of the bet though (loser had to change their "I root for" for a said amount of time). That or a certain sig bet works for me.

Whatever works for me. I was gonna suggest maybe a one or two week ban from the website but that might be just a tad extreme for some who spend a fair amount of their lives here.

STL: 1.0

In Barkley's final 2 games of last season (during the AAC tourney) he had:

vs Temple (W 80-69): 26 points, 16 rebounds
vs SMU (L 77-81): 24 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists

He has taken over as the leader and best player on the team. We are all expecting big things from Kentrell this season!

IF there were a category for do it all player, it wouldn't go to Barkley, it would go to Gary Clark.

Real TUFF. 07-coffee3

That goes both ways, sweetheart. You've also gotten very used to knowing everything about your road opponents. Now you know nothing.

Naw. The element of surprise has worked in our favor nearly 100% of the time we play. EVERYBODY has underestimated our team from the dawn of time (no matter how much video they watch). We'll punch you straight in the mouth the moment the whistle is blown and we'll keep punching until the half. Then we'll come out punching even harder in the 2nd. If you win, you will have earned it (and it will be on a night when we can't throw it in the ocean).

You said you see at least 3 losses in those 9 games. I’m saying 2 or less. I can’t subject you with the details of the bet unless you are interested in actually backing up what came from your instaspout finger tips. So are you interested in backing up what you typed out or maybe second guessing yourself and not so confident?

LOL. I wanted to know the bet as in the stakes, princess. Not trying to lose my house on how many games WSU loses this season...

Eh, not so ironclad confident in the 3 huh?

I’ll tell ya what. Since you’re the one that seems a bit shaky on your original statement, I’ll let you name the stakes.

Not sure if you're the pot or kettle in that statement...

But you suggested the bet so you choose the CSNBBS "punishment."

Am I saying we will beat WSU? NO. But we sure as hell aren't going to be a pushover, especially at home.

You guys were playing well until My boy Troy Caupain broke their spirits.

Seriously though, after that game Tulsa went straight down

I don’t have 8,000 posts and a current streak of 217 straight days of posting. Don’t get defensive about it. It’s just a fact.

2 week posting ban from this website from the loser immediately following the conclusion of WSU’s 9th conference game. Deal?
