I still don't understand why we're favored. I know we play well at home, but Oliver isn't 100% and our offense is pathetic. I expect Fergy to have a field day.
Memphis ML +135 is the play.

It's basically a tossup, and UH gets the home field advantage. Your D against our O.
Keep us under 30, you win. Not, and we win. Pretty simple, I think.

Yep. Postma ate us alive in the 2nd half 2 years ago. But if our Navy D shows up, we're good. If our UCF D shows up, not so much.
This isn't the 2015 UH offense. I might be faster than our 2 starting WR's and I'm an old man. We can't run the ball and Postma is not a very good passer and he makes a couple of scratch your head throws each game. He is pretty much a lock to throw 2 picks each game.
I don't see how UH is favored in this game.

Memphis just needs to do what Tulsa did, rush Houstons QB with 3 players at random. It will rattle him unless Houstons coaches have figured out a way around it. You rattle Postma you've got him.

Now.... if Houston wanted to do what's best for the league.... you know.... do the league a solid... a 1-loss Memphis in the CCG would really make either UCF or USF look like a world-beater.

We just played Tulsa. Their D was statistically worse.
I've known our offense was meh but I felt good about our chances because of our defense but that went out the window last week. Our D was put in bad situations but that game came down to the fact we couldn't get off the field in the third quarter.
If our D plays like it did vs. Arizona and Tech we'll have a shot. If it plays like we did vs. Tulsa... Good night, Applewhite. You were never well received because "internal" hire and Longhorn pedigree but giving up the home winning streak and ranked winning streak in back-to-back home games would mean the floor is gone and you're under it.

No Junior.. UH rises to the occasion against ranked teams. Won like 7 straight vs ranked teams. If UH plays like crap, then I'm concerned that MA can't motivate. I would expect Memphis to win. But you ain't Alabama.
Well, I don't "expect" Memphis to win. I HOPE Memphis wins, but my expectations are that 2 very good teams are gonna play a football game tomorrow, and the home team is favored by 3. And as we learned last week with Mem v. Navy, those boys in Vegas know what the hell they are doing.
And I seriously doubt that I am your junior.
Yep basically vegas sees us as even when you take out home field, which if you look at the last few years makes sense.
I hope the right UH team shows up.
27-21 UH.
All you guys predicting the Coogs to win think the game will be in the 20s. Memphis almost always scores 30 or more. Something like 11 of the last 12.
If we get to 30+, I don't think you can outscore us. Should be a battle between our O and your D.
Well we held zona to under 20 and tech to under 30. The tulsa score is inflated, I'd say it's the anomaly not the norm. UH is in okay shape, But we shall see. It's possible we keep down the path of turning the ball over and giving yall easy points
As long as we dont shoot ourselves I don't see y'all driving every series. We definitely wont, I agree we won't out score you but have a chance if we use all that talent on defense.
Wish I could make it down tomorrow

this game has no sizzle because UH fans arent as interested in applewhite as herman, we just lost to tulsa, and our offense is boring
but this is arguably the 2nd biggest game in the AAC this year..the winner will almost certainly has the inside track to the division title....loser is almost out completely

I feel like its more critical for Houston, as they still have USF and Navy to play.
Memphis plays a bunch of cupcakes after UH.
Including one UH got blown out too.

Tulsa knows as a fact internal hires seldom turn out well.

The Tigers are currently three point undercats and Vegas is more right than wrong about picking winners.

Smu and Tulane aren't cupcakes.. especially with your defense.. SMU was #3 in the nation in scoring when we played them
The loser needs the winner to lose 2 more conference games.. without losing again themselves
Us losing to a cupcake actually benefits us in a tie breaker as if we aren't ranked quality of wins (not losses) is the tie breaker

I don't know if its a matchup thing or what, but 63-0 and 51-7 the last 2 years say otherwise.

Houston will win today. They're gonna be ticked off like we were after Tulane.
That, or we broke their will and they're gonna fold like a wet paper bag.
I'll take the former.

okay and houston had beaten memphis a decaded consecutively prior to last, but that didn't affect last years game...
previous years have nothing to do with it
