Funny that the "basketball" conference is not that great at basketball.

If you're talking about the BE then you clearly don't watch basketball.

Maybe he just doesn’t watch the BE because no one does.

Yup, no one watched them get 7 bids. How many people watch WSU? Enjoy the games on ESPN 3 against ECU. Do you guys have internet in Kansas yet?

I couldn’t find any numbers for 2016 or 2017, so I just used what was available, 2015. I went to February which I figure would have the highest numbers and just grabbed some random ones.

ECU/UCONN 150k
Marquette/Villanova 79k
^these games were going on at the same time

Missouri State/Wichita State 228k
Wichita State/Illinois State 291k

Prime time FS1 games look like they pull around 150k

Villanova/Marquette on FOX 453k

UCONN/Memphis on ESPN 836k

Maybe the numbers have changed drastically in the last couple years, but I’m guessing they’ve remained relatively close. FS1 is like playing on ESPNU which means no one watches.

Only thing worse than Rutgers football is Rutgers basketball.
A stellar 7-25, 14th in Big Ten, in 2016. 03-phew

WSU is a cute program. Impressive in a football crazed state like Nebraska. Props.

Just so we're clear, the "standards" argument is not a good look. We're all very proud of your father.

Yup, no one but the committee watches. Do they get paid less each year now or no? They still get paid way more than WSU? Then who cares? BTW what is WSU getting from the AAC? If the FB schools get what 2 mil a year from ESPN then WSU must be getting less than a mil right? SO those teams like Creaighton are getting more TV money and more NCAA credit money than WSU.

I think it's funny that a conference who is battling the A-10 for 7th best overall and had to bring in WSU to cement their spot as the top not power conference. Good job guys! Maybe your 12 members can get 4 bids each year now! Hopefully Marshall never retires and never dies and the Shockers never fall back to a middle of the pack MVC team that used to be owned by Creighton and Northern Iowa. 07-coffee3

I can't take it any longer. Can anyone here add two plus two? Surely I can't be the first to realize that this is Big East Homer. It's all too obvious. The infantile names he calls those he doesn't like. The anti-Catholic bias. The same writing style. The same obsession with the Big East. He has several phony names going under the Wichita name. by the way. Go to the Wichita message boards, and Coldblooded is no where to be found no matter how far you go back. He arrived here around the same time his BEH identity was banned. He's here all the time, but never on a Wichita specific site. Anyone who remembers the BEH postings knows he's way too obsessed and psychotic to stay away. So he reinvented himself as the fanatic Wichita fan, and how he's gotten away with it for so long, without being called out is beyond me. Even his nonsense about the Providence/UCONN game was BEH all the way. Anyone with an ounce of brains realizes it was an exhibition game and meant little. Yet there he was trying to bait the UCONN fans as he always did before. Big East Homer/ Coldblooded are one and the same. He's still the same nerd sitting in his dorm room at Temple pretending he's a tough guy when he gets behind a keyboard. And Bearcats#1, how the hell did you not catch on to this? I always thought you were pretty sharp.

What does admission requirements have to do with our top 5 ranking and the Church League's impending doom as an interesting sports choice?

P.S. Hows 'bout that Omaha BJ Suburban H.O.R.S.E. series? I just love it when players clear the paint and jack up mid-major bombs all game long. That's how you spell E-X-C-I-T-I-N-G!

P.S.S. How 'bout dem Hoyas? You guys got anybody that can dunk?

...03-cool

You guys have a really good basketball program. I like Gregg Marshall but you guys are still a college right? Are you like..a for profit college? Do kids just sign on the dotted line and get in?

But hey I guess it'll add more eyeballs when you guys play....at least you have a good basketball program so that's nice.

I was told not to use big words when talking to you guys, is that true? Anyways....basketball!!! yea! Final Four! Yea! Big PEE!!!! YEA!!!!

Is Georgetown still in DI athletics? I couldn't tell after looking at your non-con schedule this year.

Wrong. WSU fans know him from MVC boards. I think he got banned from then a while back.

But you're a fan of an AAC school. I didn't realize we had so many non-AAC school fanboys lurking around. It's very vindicating.

I think it's funny that a Rutgers fan (lmao) is spending his Friday night on an AAC message board lecturing somebody in the field of athletics.
