Addazio is a great coach. Always knew the Eagles were going to bloody some noses once their offense caught fire.

+1. Not sure I'd use the word "great", but he's certainly good enough to take a miserably bad team and make them bowl-eligible.

Congrats BC. Did the Eagles get a new OC or something? Their offense just suddenly caught fire, similarly to Penn St, last season.

Nice win BC
Suddenly our BC loss doesn't feel as bad. BC is putting together an impressive run. Congrats.

Scot Loeffler came in as their new OC last year, and they weren't very good on offense last year.

Auburn & VT fans lol'ed when he got hired because he's been pretty mediocre to bad at both stops. I always felt his schemes were unnecessarily complicated, but hey, maybe he's got the right players in place at BC to run this the way he wants. I honestly haven't watched much BC football other than the Hokies beating them in Chestnut Hill, and they didn't look very good against an excellent VT defense.

My gut reaction is their recent offensive explosion is more due to the quality of their last 3 opponents - Louisville (bad defense), Virginia (weak schedule prior to BC, overrated defense), and FSU (a defense that's been on the field too much because their offense cratered after the Francois injury, plus motivation level seems low).

BC is currently 5-4. Considering that three of those four losses came against two teams arguably in the Top 5 and a third in the Top 15, I think it fair to say that BC’s team is much better than what many thought it was a little more than three weeks ago when they were sitting at 2-4.

RE: Nice win BC
I would definitely say BC is legit this year. Record be damned.
I have always liked Addaizio and loved the BC was patient with him.
