Buffalo played its charity exhibition this past weekend at Rhode Island, who made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and was picked to win the A-10. Bulls played without CJ Massinburg and lost 80-72 in overtime.

RE: CLOSED SCRIMMAGES ...
These scrimmages have fewer leaks than a Federal special prosecutor’s office, but Toledo allegedly played a couple sessions v U of Michigan and both were closely contested. No idea what UM is supposed to be like this year, though.

UM has Ohio's former starting point guard and All-MAC 1st teamer, Jaaron Simmons

A Rocket fan told me this evening that the Rockets lost an exhibition to Findlay last week at Findlay.

Yep. It was not a scrimmage but one of the charity exhibitions for hurricane victims. I believe we have a second open exhibition as well. I’m hoping that, like the 2007? Ohio State Team, an exhibition loss to Findlay means a Final Four finish for us.

Ohio played Wright State in a closed scrimmage but apparently they had really good security for it because I haven't seen details anywhere. They have a real exhibition game on Saturday against Capital University. BG hosts Capital tonight.

BG spanked Capital last night by 30. According to Jason Arkley Ohio shot the ball poorly on Sunday and lost to Wright St in the closed scrimmage.

Played IPFW recently and from what I heard, won by 20. Two freshman had big games.

Wasn’t he that kid from the movie The Omen? The Devil’s spawn? You’d think he would win pretty easily but commit a lot of fouls. Really nasty fouls.
