Congratulations Pickem Week 11 winner Buckminster Fuller
Let's see if we can do a little better than last week. In Week 10, all players averaged 6.5 wins and 8.5 losses. Let's hope there are a few gimmes on this week's card.

North Carolina @ Pitt (Thursday at 7:30PM)
Washington @ Stanford (Friday at 10:30PM)
NC State @ Boston College
Oklahoma State @ Iowa State
Duke @ Army
Michigan State @ Ohio State
Virginia Tech @ Georgia Tech
Wake Forest @ Syracuse
West Virginia @ Kansas State
Florida State @ Clemson
Georgia @ Auburn
Virginia @ Louisville
Washington State @ Utah
Notre Dame @ Miami
TCU @ Oklahoma

Good luck to all. The race at the top is very tight, but don't rule out somebody coming out of the middle of the pack if we have another bloody week.

And make sure to get your picks in before that Thursday game kicks off.

Don't feel bad. You finished in a tie for 6th (out of 12) for the week.

Bump.

Our first game kicks off at 7:30PM. Something tells me if you get your picks in late you could lose a game to almost the entire field. So don't procrastinate.

RE: Pickem Week 11 is now open
Well, we got off to almost the same lousy start as last week. But at least one player - samandrea - picked Carolina to win. Not sure if he was picking with his heart or his head, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was just the most perceptive picker last night.

We may have similar results to last week in the rest of the slate. Counting UNC, five underdogs were picked once each, and each of those by a different picker. They were UNC, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Virginia. There were no unanimous picks this week.

All the rest of the underdogs collectively were picked almost as often as favorites. So let the carnage ensue.

Last night's win by Stanford over Washington did not merely squash the PAC 12's chances for putting a team in the CFP. Much more importantly, it created a three way tie atop the ACCbbs Pickem Contest going into today's games. How much more exciting can this race get???

As a group, we are 36-41 so far. Not very impressive performance.

Pickem Week 11 winner: Buckminster Fuller!
04-bow Congratulations Bucky (may I call you that?). You won again (your 4th weekly win) and in stunning fashion. Only Ole Blue managed to stay within a game of your 12-3 record. 04-bow

Perhaps more important, that win catapults you into 1st place in the season race. The standings for the Top Five are now:

Buckminster Fuller.....105 (4)
College Card.............103 (2)
4x4hokies.................101 (3)
Bigtexnole................100 (3)
Ole Blue.....................99 (1)

With only two weeks to go in the regular season, your challengers have work to do. But before you go into a prevent defense, keep in mind that you just gained 9 wins on the then leader in just two weeks. The tables can be turned, so all five of our leaders can still capture the big prize.

I'll have the slate for Week 12 this afternoon. I can tell you this. There probably won't be as many P5 games, since so many P5 teams are playing cupcakes in preparation for their season ending rivalry games. So the G5 will have its day in the sun this week.
