Northwestern representing the Big 10 in the NCAA Field Hockey Tournament
Cats take on Louisville next Saturday at 2PM EST. Michigan is also in the same bracket.
This is NU's finest fall sports showing. Ranked in football (25) Preseason Men's Hoops ranked (19, with 4 Big 10 teams in the top 20) with Field Hockey in the top 16. NU is putting the finishing touches on a $500M facility improvement campaign which includes a new Swimming complex, indoor practice facility for football and a renovation of Welsh Ryan arena which will be completed in either late 18 or early 19.

These improvements will put Northwestern in direct competition with Stanford for top athletes that are academically minded

Congratulations on the rise of the Northwestern sports program. The men's basketball part is an interesting one to watch.
