Post-game comments seem to indicate that Ohio only prepared to face Tommy Woodson. That's bewildering to me. Nelson started the previous game, and there was no knowing whether Woodson's suspension was going to be over.

If I may butt in here, a NIU vs. Akron rematch would be even better.

I've been a strong proponent of 'everyone sucks but Toledo.'
Toledo tied with 2-8 BGSU.

(Also FWIW, I know it's a rivalry game, but the attendance at the BGSU/UT game is what weeknight games should look like. Kudos to them. Looks much better then what we got in Kalamazoo for WMU/CMU)

Yeah..... Toledo dropped 66 on BGSU. The attendance at BG was pretty bad, the tv camera just never showed it.

We have to beat EMU and Ball State, Akron needs to lose to Kent, and OU needs to lose at UB. Per the Miami boards we'd win the obscure tiebreakers since we're all 1-1 against each other and it'd come down to how we did against UB, albeit with a very small chance of actually happening.

an even smaller chance now...as in ZERO!

And just like that, Akron is a Wagon Wheel win against Kent State away from the MACC. OU is allergic to the MACC.

just like Miami is allergic to bowl games? 03-lmfao enjoy your bowl season watching all of the teams play except yours!

Enjoy asking Miami grads for a raise every year.

I'm sure they expected a more 1-dimensional running game if Nelson played and were more worried about Woodson's passing.
