This Temple team looks a lot better than the beginning of the season. I expect them to give UCF a battle with UCF winning by 14.

The weather is a concern, but Temple's rushing game is not as good as UConn's. UCF should win by two touchdowns.

What do you know about the trap game?

Probably because we lost our backup RB for the year, and our starting RB has been hurt most of the year. Fortunately, he seemingly is healthy this week.

Most of this is on the defensive side of the ball, but the offense has had some problems finishing drives lately as well.

I hope to hell you didn't get our best shot. 03-lmfao

I’m sure Memphis wanted to be embarrassed so that UCF fans could gloat over 11 straight wins. They have us right where they want us lulling us into a false sense of security ready to drop the hammer on us during the CG (if we get past usf). 03-lmfao

RE: Temple - UCF
ORLANDO — If you’ve been in a bar, you’ve seen the “Free Beer Tomorrow” sign. It’s good for a laugh, or an eye roll. What kind of bar would be ridiculous enough to serve beer for free?

Well, there is one.

The Basement in Orlando is serving free beer during every UCF game this season, until the Knights lose. There are no strings attached. If you come in between kickoff and the final whistle, you can drink all the beer you want (as long as it’s not unsafe to serve you).

If this sounds familiar, it’s because the same bar had a different promotion two years ago: free beer until UCF wins. That went the entire season, as the Knights failed to get a victory.

The idea was born out of desperation. UCF played against South Carolina early in the 2015 season and the bar had maybe 20 people in house to watch. This was after the Knights lost to Furman the week before.

“The first four games, it got worse and worse,” says owner Brandon Geers. “No one was showing up. Just two seasons before that, we were invincible. It was a plummet.”

RE: Temple - UCF
Our 2016 team completely choked away a 26-8 lead, complete with Milton injuring his ankle and our defense totally crapping the bed to allow for a last second Temple TD to win. Our team was still learning the system and Temple went on to win the AAC.

I can assure you this still pisses our guys off.

I know Temple is improved but I don't see this being all that close. We had them dead to rights last when their team was much, much better than this year, and ours was much worse. And they had PJ Walker.

I'll say 42-20 or so.

To the contrary, I’m happy we lost. This win for temple sealed a division title, and kept the school w/ geographical problems from winning it for the 1st time ever

Watch what I do here...

Our 2016 Temple team gutted out a win down at UCF. UCF came out strong but that was mostly due to Temple's defense not showing up in the first half. Temple's offense struggled as well by throwing 1 1st half INT and turning the ball over on downs twice in the first half. Temple really gave UCF that first half lead.

Starting with Temple's last drive of the 1st half, Temple finally started playing like the team they were. UCF wasn't stopping Temple, Temple was stopping Temple. Temple outgained UCF 300 yards to 90 yards the rest of the way. Clearly this game was a case of Temple coming out flat and allowing UCF to score on 4 of the first 5 possessions after Temple suffered a tough loss to Memphis the week before.

lol ok, dude

My point stands- that was Temple's best team in....years. It was a fairly average UCF team with an injured QB playing the entire 2nd half. And yet it still came down to a last second miracle TD.

Things are incredibly different this year.

I'm trying to figure out your point? I mean this year Temple is average so are you saying Temple has a chance to win against the mighty UCF?

My point stands - 2013 was UCFs best team in...years. It was a fairly below average Temple team with a freshman qb playing the entire game. Yet is still came down to a last minute miracle FG to win the game...

RE: Temple - UCF
Temple has nothing to lose and everything to gain. UCF, while highly talented and very well coached, seems to be playing a little tight over the past two games. The game is in Philly in moderately bleak weather. While UCF might remember last year's contest, it wasn't decided on a bad call or anything Temple did other than execute. Not so sure the UCF players are angry (maybe self-embarrassed) and want revenge (maybe redemption).

I think Temple wins this game.

The weather is supposed to be 54 and cloudy. What are you talking about?

Unless PJ Walker returns to the lineup, UCF is not losing this game.

I think Temple wins this game.

UCF last played and lost to Austin Peay back in 1984 prior to this year during UCF's short tenure in Div II..and fortunately, UCF scored 73 pts on them and erased that ugly scar last month.

Let's do the same with Temple!

Never forget!
