So do I. It’s really not fair to have hm be put in pressure situations because of the head coach’s complete ineptitude and then get mad at him for not being perfect. Can’t complain about him. He’s done a good job this year though not amazing.

I said this on BRZ but if we lose to ODU or beat them and lose a bowl game then Stockstill will have an exactly .500 record over 12 - TWELVE!! - years.

Personally, I have no real problems with the officiating. Mike White and his many receivers are simply better than Stockstill and his one.

I never jump on here about officiating but the officiating was horrible and a vast majority of the bad calls went against us. But I'm mostly pissed about the no review on an obviously reviewable play that pinned us inside the one. The ball clearly crossed the plane and should have been a touchback. That really screwed us from having a chance to win in regulation. On top of the reversal - that had absolutely no evidence for being overturned all happening at the end of the game when we would have had a chance to win in regulation.

Like I said previously, the rules state possession (and he never bobbled it), both feet on the ground and a football move. Receiver had already made his turn up the field. Only after all that had been completed did the ball come out. If the ball would have stayed in bounds you would have been decreeing it a fumble. So shut your mouth.

Cry some more, 3 straight over MTSU...ALmost makes up for the disappointment this season has been with this win tonight...But hey 7 straight seasons being bowl eligible I guess you get spoiled...

Shafer would be such a HUGE STEP UP. It’s unreal. So freakin mad because of how powerless we are to do literally anything unless Stockstill freaking resigns. UGH!!!!

Just got back from a big win by my Hilltoppers.

I thought we were done in on the backwards pass fiasco. That’s what happens when a true freshman doesn’t know what’s going on. Should’ve jumped on the ball just in case.

Then Mike White showed why he’s the best quarterback in CUSA with 2 perfect long throws to get us back into the ball game.

We haven’t been able to throw long all year and do it on back to back drives.

Couldn’t believe our kicker and special teams was able to pull this one out. I can never tell if a kick goes through or not from my seats. I watch the kicker’s body language. When Rooker missed I could tell by watching him. When Nuss hit his I could tell by watching him. And the rest of the Western players.

As badly as Boy Wonder has coached this year, any year we beat Middle is a good year to me.

Thank you Mike White. You’ve taken a beating this year amigo. Yet always got up and represent Western like the class young man you are. And you’re 2-0 vs. Middle. Makes you alright in my book every day.

I think the overtime periods are sometimes referred to as "innings". I've heard that before tonight.

I just learned something new. Up to now, I have no recall of ever having heard the term, "inning" used in a football game.
