CSUB to Broadcast 10 Home Games on ESPN3
Quote:With increased national exposure each year, the Roadrunner men's basketball program has been able to put the city of Bakersfield in front of millions of eyes recently. On Monday, the CSU Bakersfield Athletic Department announced a deal with ESPN that will allow the `Runners to broadcast ten of their men's basketball home games on ESPN's online platform, ESPN3, this season.

"Our Men's Basketball program has been on the national stage over the past two years with our first-ever NCAA Tournament berth and our run to the semifinals of the NIT last year," said Kenneth "Ziggy" Siegfried, Director of Athletics at CSUB. "We are a program that is garnering national attention and this partnership with ESPN3 will allows us to showcase our games to a larger audience than ever before. Let's pack the Icardo Center this year and show the nation what is so special about our community and the `Runners!"

The Roadrunner men's basketball home games to be broadcasted on ESPN3 this year are listed below. Starting on Dec. 2, the only CSUB men's basketball home game that will not be shown on ESPN3 is Dec. 8 versus Life Pacific, which will be aired live on the WAC Digital Network.

Excellent news! Not really relevant to me as a season ticket holder but still very cool to see this. Exposure on an ESPN brand is always good.
