Ok, this is silly. USF not ranked Week three. What’s going on here

Too many favored 3 loss teams. Boise making their Access Bowl move in at 25.

Boise st is in though and has one more loss?

This is crazy. Is it just a ploy to make sure UCF doesn't have the chance to get another top 25 win? As pathetic as my question is.....I am serious.

My first thought too— not happy that that’s where I went to.
Even though it’s the cows, no way a two loss G4 team should be ranked ahead of them.

More importantly, if USF wins out including over UCF and Memphis...... it would make sense that they would jump a 2 loss Boise......... but with this damn Committee, anything is possible.

I would love for USF to be ranked. But... they played one decent team all season (Houston) and they lost. Their next-best win is over 5-5 Temple. I know they got screwed over on their schedule this year, but it's really not helping their case.

How are there 7 two loss teams ahead of UCF?

Because the committee is crapping the bed? Lol as it looks now Usf will be a top 20 team in both traditional polls, Boise won't be ranked. But the cfp will get it ass backwards, Boise got blown out at home by Virginia. Who have they beat?

I am surprised many of you are surprised. People have been pointing this out for a month. USF's best win is over Temple and they are 78th by Massey.

USF winning the AAC is a worst case scenario for the AAC.

It is a temporary ranking for BSU, as far as I am concerned. If they were to win out, USF would jump BSU. Beating both UCF and Memphis should jump BSU. If not, the present system is a f***ing sham.

I am not sure what you are laughing about. I actually agree that USF would have very good wins over UCF and Memphis if they win out. However, that does not guarantee they jump an 11-2 Boise. Who knows, but I would not be so arrogant if I were you. This ranking actually counters much of the narrative that has been spun here for a while.

I don't understand why SFSU isn't ranked. Is the Committee not a hoodfan?

Literally 2/3s of the AAC East sucks --- and since USF and UCF can't play themselves that's 4 out of 5 sucky football teams on the East schedule. Makes it hard to move the needle. I mean a win against an ECU just doesn't impress --- nothing.

There are also several 3 loss teams ahead of Memphis. No AAC team will every make the playoffs in the current format. I don't think an AAC team would even make an 8 team playoff. About our only chance would be for the playoffs to be expanded to 16 teams and then one of our teams would have to run the table to get in.

Well they did beat New Mexico so there is that. BSU will always get the benefit of the doubt over other G5 teams.
