AD Jeff Long out at Arkansas
Jeff Long is done at Arkansas

And that probably means Bielema is done as well.

Long will remain on the CFP committee, however, until his term expires at the end of the season.

Quote:Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long was fired on Wednesday, with the school's chancellor saying Long had "lost the support of many of our fans, alumni, key supporters, and members of the university leadership."

Julie Cromer Peoples, the school's associate vice chancellor for athletics and senior associate athletics director, was named Long's replacement on an interim basis.

RE: AD Jeff Long out at Arkansas
Jeff was also not fond of renewing the Little Rock game as the school doesn't make as much money playing there but that central Arkansas location allows fans in southern Arkansas to attend.

War Memorial Stadium does need improvements, which is one reason Jeff lost some support. The real reason is the contract extension given to Bielema and the coaches results or lack there.
