RE: Georgia State vs App State Game
If UGA/GT kicks off at noon most fans are parked by 11. If you're not tailgating you have 2 hrs to get thru traffic.

Probably 78, but that's where all the Athens traffic will be coming from. All the way down Memorial Dr. is also an option. Georgia State Stadium is a good 30 minutes from Stone Mountain anyways. I'd check with Waze or Google Maps first. Give yourself a little time to get in the parking lot too.
I just realized he is actually staying in Tucker (Northlake). You really never can tell until the day of. It's also same day as GT/UGA which is at noon. Alsi Saturday after Thanksgiving so no telling what the shopping traffic will be like. 285 west to 85 and then 85 south may be the best bet. Or maybe 285 south to I-20 west.

Thanks for the suggestions. 285 to I-20 seems the most reasonable looking at it now, but I'll adjust on gameday.

Pumped to spend the weekend in the Atlanta. Taking the girl to Stone Mountain friday. As a baseball fan, really excited to the Apps play in Turner! Hope it's a great game, and whether win or lose, pulling for GSU the rest of the way.

It's not the biggest game in the history of GSU football from a fan stand point. No idea how it's playing in the locker room.

You guys are new to football, winning a game against the defending conference champion to give yourself a chance to win your first ever championship seems like a program building game.

I live in Tuckhead! If there is no traffic, 85 is the quickest or you can take hwy 29 to Midtown and have a multitude of ways to work south to downtown. What everyone said is the best advice, although the longest route, and attack it from the SE/I-20.

Have fun! I hope no one wins!

And don’t forget the dogs!

More seriously, something that I think is getting overlooked a bit is the fact that one more win gives us the winningest season in the history of the program. This would be an awesome way to get it. (I don’t think that’s something that’s motivating fans for this one specific game, though...)

Some of your fans only care about beating a “name” team and don’t appreciate the growth you’ve seen this year, it’s a shame.

Inaugural game, stadium inaugural, Bama 2010, GS in Statesboro 2015, First bowl game. I may be missing a couple.

What was so great about the Bama game in '10? Didn't yall get slaughtered?

I understand the bowl game, first game, beating us in 15.. those all make sense. What am I missing?

We played the defending national champions in our first season on a Thursday Night on ESPNU with the Gameday broadcast team. It was a special night and we took about 8k fans to that game. The score wasnt as important as it being the culmination of year one.

It was basically a 3 hour Kirk Herbstreit infomercial. It was a great story line.

Sounds about right to me. Will concern me if it’s much higher.

It opened with App -7 (The Score App line, not sure about other Vegas lines). Thought it would be a bit higher to be honest.

Having outscored GaSt 98-6 in our past 3 games, I think we are due for a loss to them this time around. This is not the GaSt team of old and we've barely beaten teams much worse than them this season. This could be their payback game against us.

Will depend on our health I'd say, I haven't heard much on recently missing D players, RB, OL, etc.
