Bahamas - UNT vs Central Michigan
Birmingham - MT vs USF
Armed Forces - UAB vs Army

Independence - WKU vs Florida State
La Tech not included

So basically they just wrote down teams at random. These picks make absolutely NO sense.

As crazy as all the bowl scenarios are, and the apparent possibility that UTSA may not be selected even if we beat LATech to go 7-4, I'll be happy if UTSA just makes it to a bowl.

One final set of projections.....this one from Sports Illustrated. I feel like they did their homework for the most part but I hope they’re wrong on La Tech missing out.

Boca Raton - FIU vs Temple
Frisco - Middle Tennessee vs Utah St
Bad Boy Mowers - Marshall vs USF
Bahamas - FAU vs NIU
Birmingham - UAB vs Memphis

Independence - UNT vs Boston College

If LA Tech wins this Saturday, why would Indy Bowl take WKU instead of LA Tech? LA Tech beat WKU on the road this season. And I don't even need to talk about the crowd LA Tech could bring vs the crowd that WKU could bring to Shreveport. 01-wingedeagle

Tech is going to the Independence Bowl. Win this weekend and you are heading to Shreveport.

Assumption here but considering he doesn't have LT in a bowl game at all he's probably thinking LT loses this weekend to UTSA

Reps from the Independence Bowl were at our game with Army Saturday night. I like this match up with Boston College too.

I like the HOD against Texas Tech too, but his I Bowl looks good to me.

No chance we get shipped out to the New Mexico Bowl.

So basically it doesn't matter if we win, we'll get left out anyway..

Most likely you will be one of the teams sweating it out if more than 78 teams are eligible. P5 teams will get priority and then from there it will be more or less what bowl is looking. If it's an eastern based bowl you would probably have better chances if your competition is a west coast G5 team. Win Saturday and there's no more than 78 bowl eligible teams come next weekend then you are in. There will be up to 3 games next weekend that could have bowl implications

Well first off, If i remember right, Conference USA mandated that 7+ teams get first choice over 6 win teams.

So that means: North Texas, Southern Miss, UAB, Florida Atlantic, and Marshall we know get first dibs at 7+ wins

Then: UTSA, FIU, and WKU at 6 wins

Then if they some how win this weekend: Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, and Old Dominion at 6 wins

Middle Tennessee OR Old Dominion. They are playing each other.

FIU or Western will be 7 win teams and maybe both if Western wins on Friday. FIU will still have a game vs Umass

They're also the sponsor for Battle 4 Atlantis, so apparently the market for sexually promiscuous commercial-grade lawn-care equipment has done well by Bad Boy Mowers.
