RE: ACC/B1G Challenge
Any basketball fans here?

Cuse holds off Maryland in a very tight contest. Biggest lead was 7 pts. Won 72-70 despite 7-8 shooting from 3pt land by Maryland's Kevin Huerter (Red Mamba). Kid bleed Orange but Cuse didn't have a scholie (due to probation restrictions). He went to Maryland instead. He would've looked great in Orange.

1-0 ACC

Basketball? Is that the one where you hit the little white ball with a stick??

I didn't get to see it but it sounds like it was a good game.

Good win for Syracuse, should help if they are on the bubble at the end of the season.

Cards opened up as 7 point dogs at Purdue ... play tomorrow.

I am still transitioning into hoops season. I pay attention to the bigger named out-of-conference games early. I have yet to see us play this year, although it sounds like we've shown flashes. My hoops fanaticism won't really take effect until the annual UK game, which I believe this year is 12-29. Perfect lead in to conference play.

04-cheers...it could have. But Maryland is doing it's thing now in the B1G. I think a lot of fans have changed their original opinion although some still want to be in the ACC. Maybe sometime in the future Maryland can work out the issues with the ACC and we all can have some more enjoyable games. Until then...wish everybody in the ACC luck.

You'll have to pardon me, it's difficult for me to watch basketball when Georgia Tech is decimated by NCAA suspension while the Heels waltz around with their National Championship and totally fake diplomas. I just get angry when I see it. Palpably angry. So I don't watch.

Well, somehow apparently GT managed to do their part.

Now if they can just blow UGAg out of the water mission accomplished for the season.

Dude we self reported, had the NCAA around for 8 friggin years, an ass from WVU (Luck) who hated Cuse was in charge of the committee and penalities. We lost 12 scholie over 4 years and vacated 108 victories. I don't want to hear sob stories.

Where in my post was sadness evoked? All your reply has done is offer more fuel for an angry fire directed at UNC.

UofL played tough and CDP did a fine job. 2-5 point swing vast majority of the game. Type of game that will make us better later in the season. If we are allowed to have a post season, this game helped us.
