Midway is an NAIA school in its second season of having a men's basketball program, in fact they didn't even admit men to the university until last year. This is a game we need to win by 50.

Miami 123 - Midway 40

Previous school record for points was 114 vs Findlay in 1974. Previous school record for biggest margin of victory was 57 vs Wright Field in the 40's. Shattered that record by 26 points. After our freshmen (4 starters) have had a 4 game road trip ( 1-3) with two in Montelago, Jamaica, one in New Orleans, and one in Clarksville, Tennessee in a 10 day period, this was good for everyone's attitude.

UB cruises against Niagara 106-87 at Niagara.

UB has a big opportunity on Saturday when they face St. Bonaventure - UB has never beaten all local Big 4 teams (Niagara, St. Bonaventure & Canisius) in the same season before. They're a really fun team to watch, and when they get Clark, Smart and Bertram back they're going to be a difficult out in the MAC.

NIU loses by 13 to UW-Milwaukee. Most of the game it was close, but defense is worse than last year and we still can't shoot from the outside. A recipe for about a 12-13 win season.
