Read this article on the great Lefty Drisell. Read it especially if you're not familiar with him. It's a travesty that Lefty isn't in the Hall of Fame. He's such an important figure in college basketball history, especially ACC history. We could use a character like Lefty in the game today.

He was one of my favorite coaches. His teams were great. Had the NCAA tourney allowed 65 teams back in the 70s he would have probably been in several final 4, maybe had a national championship. The greatest game ever played was the NC State v Maryland conference championship game in 74.
