What dream is that, playing in the Frisco bowl? Cause we beat SMU 43-6 just a few years ago and with Sutton gone I expect to beat you next year.

Lot of reasons for the blowout.

1) obviously the coaching change at SMU did not do them any favors. They were set up to play worse than normal
2) This was as healthy as Tech has been all season. We were set up to play better than our regular season suggested.
3) We were better than our record. The close losses have been talked about a lot so no need to rehash. I'm not saying we should have won all the close ones, but we were clearly a 6-6 team with upside.

Glad to get the win and go to 4-0 on our recent bowl streak. Wish WKU could have joined us (that is still the most surprising bowl loss for me so far). Good luck to the rest of the CUSA teams. I'll be rooting for FIU tonight.

Yeah the AAC is on a whole other level.

Definitely. He won't be around when SMU comes to Ruston in 2021. He'll either be fired..or he'll have moved on to another job.

I've never seen a bowl team as bad as SMU. They were awful. Congratulations Louisiana Tech on the win. Your team was ready for sure.

This Tech team returns 16 starters including the DMVP and OMVP from the Bowl game. Tech is looking good for next season, IMHO.

I was expecting to see big QB play from SMU's Ben Hicks, he looked like doodoo.
