I haven't seen the exact wording of the post, but there is a hell of a lot of difference between "I hope you die" and "I will kill you." One is protected free speech. The other is a threat.

One is a veiled threat.

Anyway, over all the Tubby angst on this board, I haven't seen or read anything racist or threatenimg here. Thankfully, we have all been able to keep it about basketball.

Honestly, I'm shocked there is enough anger about the basketball program to make a threat. I wouldn't have thought anyone cared enough at this point.

If it looks like s legit threat they should be able to find who did it. Folks that dumb typically don't or can't cover their tracks

And even if the "wording" doesn't necessarily make it a crime, I would love to see the guys name and picture posted all over social media, the news, newspaper, etc. I am sure the racist comments alone would be enough to get him fired from his job and ostracized by most people.

Have to agree. I thought most had just resigned themselves to apathy.

This is disgusting and pathetic and quite sad. It would be great if they could track down the scum that posted the stuff. So much in today’s society is sick and evil.

On a different subject but has a tie-in. I have heard that Tubby isn’t happy here. Maybe other posters here can confirm this. I can easily see how he would be unhappy here. Disgusting racism and threats would only add to and confirm that he isn’t happy. I would not be surprised if he stepped down after the season.
