Doesn't John Elway have ownership in the Broncos?
Hey might have a small piece of the action, but I don't believe he is the majority owner the way Halas and Richardson were/are.

$800M isn't enough to be a sole owner, but it might be enough to be the principle owner in a large group of investors, or more likely finding a likeminded partner to put up a similar number, thus requiring a smaller group in total.

Manning has nowhere near the coin. His entire net worth might not get him more than 5%.

All the mannings combined don’t have the dough for half a NFL franchise.

Nobody was cheering for a freaking injury. Big sack and upcoming 3rd down. What was that “injury” anyway? Either he poked himself in the eye with the interior of his helmet...which caused him to fall to the ground twice...or he had a concussion and the panties violated protocol. All I know is the NFL is investigating your team not mine.

It was a great game. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Carolina lose and am not shocked at all some of their fans would result to name calling this early in the week.

Trash fans and great fans in literally every fanbase, in every sport, in the world.
The trash Harvard crew fans might sound a bit different than the trash New Orleans Saints fans, but we all got em.

Its called a rivalry. I am not a die hard Saints fan like I was in my younger years. I typically save my Sundays for something else, but I will occasionally cheer for them when the time arises. That being said, I hate Falcons fans as much as I hate Auburn or UTSA fans. Carolina is not that far from the list either. Does that make me or you a trash fan?? Heck no!! That's what fandom is. The local paper stating ownership is fantastic and hilarious!! It means beating Carolina means something and I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep if Carolina had done something similar. We aren't talking about someones family or yelling racial slurs at each other. You UEFA Champions League fans know what I am talking about.

Heh.... now that is some good smack right there.
In a cruel twist of fate:
ALL 4 NFCS teams have been to a Super Bowl.
The Saints and the Bucs are both 1-0.
The Falcons and the Panthers are both 0-2 and have also both lost to the Patriots and the Broncos.... go figure.

Either the Panthers violated the concussion protocol or Scam strikes again.
Panthers admit Cam Newton embellished injury to buy time
According to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer, the Panthers now admit that Newton was embellishing whatever injury he had, in order to give backup Derek Anderson time to loosen up.
It’s a stunning admission, with the Panthers consciously picking the lesser of two evils. In lieu of admitting that Newton ended up on his knees because he was unable to finish his left-foot-right-foot path to the sideline, the Panthers are essentially admitting that they gamed the system, ordering Newton to pretend he was hurt more than he was so that Anderson could become more ready than he would have been.
Sorry, Panthers, but that’s the risk of operating under false pretenses. When you deliberately play make believe, there’s a chance someone will believe you.
