Childress heard the crash of the glass and retrieved his own weapon before going to investigate, the sheriff's office said. When he saw the people inside his house he fired at the people.

There is something inherently sacred to protect your home from invasion.

I've always been a NASCAR fan. Pulled for Cale, JD McDuffie, Elliott, Burton, Jr, looking for the next driver support now that Jr. has retired. But I'm not a "Libturd" so I guess I don't count. Anyway, I'm glad the Childress family are safe. It was in the news extensively here in NC.
