I believe it, however while our current leadership is in place all of that is on hold.
Discouraging
Good news is they are not getting any younger so we will more than likely just have to wait them out.
What's the problem with the athletics admin? Are coaching salaries too low? Bad hiring?
clt lists a few problems
- the core focus of the AD is student athlete experience. Not winning.
- our athletes are expected to actually go to class and stay out of trouble
- the AD has large contributors which are happy with the status quo.
- our current FB program doesn’t recruit our region, and has a negative opinion from local HS coaches.
- money isn’t a problem, we don’t even go after the smaller contributors

All one has to do is get the Charlotte 49ers sports tweets to understand the AD's agenda. It's pitiful!Iit looks like women's this, girl's that, marbles, bingo, and real sports football, basketball & baseball is page three news.

Charlotte is no South Florida, but there are some very solid players out there. UNCC needs to step it up when it comes to recruiting local talent.

Lambert needs to add Tommy Knotts and couple of other very good/connected Carolina high school coaches to his staff.

Charlotte needs to expand their stadium in the worst way. I'm sorry, but a 15K stadium does not scream big time football.
