Conference USA’s Board of Directors established an Executive Committee to supervise the selection of Banowsky’s replacement. The ExComm was chaired by John R. Broderick, President of Old Dominion; Dr. Rodney Bennett, President of Southern Miss; Dr. Phil Dubois, President of Charlotte; Mr. David W. Leebron, President of Rice; Dr. Diana S. Natalicio, President of UTEP; and Dr. Mark D. Rosenberg, President of FIU.

Let’s be sure to thank them for their outstanding work!!

And e-mail that guy who writes for the Norfolk newspaper.

This committee struck out. But also not surprising since neither Leebron nor Natalicio are/were known for an aggressive approach to athletics.

Harry Minium?

He works for the school now. He's state controlled media.

Ed Miller took his place at the Virginia Pilot. He does a good job but doesn't seem to have quite the scoop on the conference that Harry did. I imagine ODU decided hiring Harry and having him print what they want was better than leaking it to him.

So, if those same 6 University Presidents are still on this committee; are they too embarrassed to admit their colossal mistake in hiring Judy? Or, are they just too @#$%^ incompetent and/or disinterested to take appropriate steps to end this disaster and lift CUSA out of the death spiral?

Leebron is 64 years old and unlikely to be willing to stake his academic legacy on athletics.

But it is a reasonable question as to who/what circumstances would it take to fire Judy.

I'd say all it would take is the university presidents to say thanks but no thanks Judy here's your walking papers as we've decided to go in a different direction but I don't see any w/ the willingness to do so.
