You know we lost to Kentucky. The majority of the country couldn’t tell you who won the AAC last year. I couldn’t tell you who won the AAC two years ago. I couldn’t tell you who won the ACC, PAC-12, or Big Ten regular season or tournament championships last year.

It will be nice to win the AAC to rub it in all your little internet trolls’ faces but I don’t expect any sort of national pub or notoriety from it. March and April are all I care about.

I can tell you who DIDN’T win the AAC conference tourney two years ago..... SMU.

We only know who lost to Kentucky because you won’t shut up about it. You come in expecting everyone to bow down and anoint you “flagship” before winning ANYTHING! Win some games and the talk.

March is all that matters. All people know about SMU is they suck in the NCAA tourney. They are no better than Creighton in that regard. Cretin used to tout all of their conference championships also. Pretty funny stuff when that is all you can pump your chest about. Just like when Dougie claimed he would rather win the Valley than go to the Final Four. Stupid......

SMU has a lot of similarities with Creighton actually.

It's still better than winning a conference championship. 1+ win in the tourney is ALWAYS better.
