I have taken a stab - see above

I'm expecting a little bit of rust to knock off Saturday and Charlotte to give ODU a good game. As long as Davis is there, they got a shot. I still have flashbacks from that buzzer beater last year.

Can't believe Davis hasn't transfered out.

Looking forward to conference play. We are missing a piece with a dominant big body big man inside, but Peneva is playing what i keep thinking is way over his head, but he just keeps on doing it, and is one of the best big men in the country all of a sudden.

Elmore and the team as a whole still haven't hit their potential, and if we find our stride, i think Marshall and MT in the title game where whoever plays the best that game wins as an interchangeable 1/2.

We are also one sprained ankle or injury away from falling to the bottom of the barrel, we have no depth, and absolutely need the bye in the tourney to have a shot, and if Peneva or elmore goes down, our team is trash.

Don’t love our chances on the road against even the midpack competition. I figure we need 5 or 6 wins to make the “postseason” but I’m not counting on catching UTSA or UTEP off-guard.

UTEP has played solid since Floyd retired. Playing 3 games in 4 days caught up to UTEP last week as they ran out of gas against a good North Dakota State team. There are 2 big questions that need to be answered.
1. When will Matt Wilms be healthy?
2. Will Trey Wade be back?
If the answer to both of those is yes the UTEP will be a factor.

Big game for us tonight. La Tech one of the 5 teams picked ahead of us. We get them at home. They just lost their 2nd leading scorer to transfer. If we're going to get a bye then this is pretty close to a must win.

WKU -6.5 tonight according to Vegas....We will see who has the best guards tonight as this could end up a battle of the two best guard set in CUSA this season...I think WKU's advantage will be down low as JJ and Coleby are bigger in bulk than La. Tech's bigs....

Oh....let me be more clear. I simply meant that starting with two tough road games at WKU and Marshall is a tough way for LA Tech to start. And it is. I think Tech will be very lucky to go 1-1.
