Tulsa
Attended the Tulsa vs Texas game with my brother(UT Graduate and huge Longhorn fan.

IMHO, Tulsa is going to be the AAC’s sleeper team this season. The Hurricane lost, but they gave Texas a helluva game. TU has good size across the lines and speed at the skill positions. FG/EP kicker had problems. Don’t sell Tulsa short.

Sleeper to win the West? No.

Ability to pull off an upset or two? Yes.

Tulsa will dominate this conference!!!

Tulsa will beat Arkansas in Arkansas, I think the hurricane can win against Arky State this week. But this is still a young team learning how to win. I think 8 games is possible this year. A bowl is definitely within reach. If we catch a few breaks and the players continue to mature it could be a great set up year for something special next year.

Thanks for the outside look though always good to have a different perspective.

I think we're going to have some battles with Navy, USF, Memphis, and Houston.

Understandable. Tulsa is my #2. You my #1 tho. Also, I think Tulsa still has a great chance at a bowl and some unexpected upsets. I just don't think they got what it takes to win the West this year. <3

Do you happen to be the Arkansas referee?

I wish. . .

We really do need to win this game vs Arkansas. The Texas game got local credit, an Arkansas win would really turn local heads and for once Tulsa is in position to take advantage. Helps the conference is making noise that even casual fans are taking note of.

I was just going a bit crazy. A good year and a bowl is totally within reach and sets Tulsa up for a big year next year.
