The AP isn't tied to the CFP at all, and never have been.

They also have UCF at #10 right now, and UCF isn't going to finish up anywhere near the #1 spot in their poll.

DISPUTED national champion, Undefeated UCF beat the team that beat both of those LOSERS.

Ed Daigneault (AP Voter from Waterbury, CT) had the second highest ranking for UCF in Week 15 (#5). I don't see him having UCF any worse than #2 in the final poll.

You are right, and this certainly matters... UCF has the best possible logic behind their claim. Can't be denied. CFP will crown a champ, but that does not make it legit, it only highlights the problem with the cartel. we need to be LOUD about this...
