The age distribution so far is actually just about where I expected it. I figured there would be a bit of a bimodal distribution with peaks around 30ish and 45ish years of age. These are people that would have been on campus around the time of either the '92 Final Four run or the Brian Kelly BCS era. No surprise that winning generates more fans.

52 years and been on the banter for 13 of them!

Ragpicker and I have discussed this phenomena before. I often attend the Bearcat Faithful Luncheons on campus. Most of the guys there are long in the tooth-- were around during the Sid Gillman football years and/or the late 50s/early 60s when UC was winning NC's and going to Final Fours. Then you have people from the early Huggins years. There aren't too many from the 70s and 80s-- a black whole in the UC's sports history. Most of those people are the UC alums who are big OSU/other Big 10 team/UK homers-- are embarrassed they went to UC. UC will probably never get them back.

I am happy about the school pride UC has instilled in the alums and citizenry of the Tri-State in the past 20 years. There's more work to be done however...

In 2 more years, I turn the Big Four Oh! Of course, I count in hexadecimal.

50, CBA Class of 1991. As a commuter student for 5 years, only attended a hand full of football and basketball games. 1986-1991 was a lean time in athletics. Basketball was coming around because some guy named Huggins came to town . Of course they go to the Final 4 the year after I graduated.

I would probably be more normal if I had hung around here in 2004 compared to other forums and websites I was on in '04.

I do feel the 21-25 option and 20 and younger will be extremely small given the fact traditional Forums have been dying for a long time, and many people in that category did not grow up with forums like this.

I will be 52 this year with and 8 year old. So I feel like I am 70. Plus I am always in the dog house not just the wife's. LOL
