lol, yeah, thanks. Have a feeling that little help from App may come back to bite them if we can get a decent AD. Time will tell......

What help did App St give you guys in this? I have seen stuff mentioned several times with no real explanation as to what happened.

Here you go...

Who is Grady Davis?

Cliff notes: Fake UNC Charlotte alumnus, Grady Davis, emailed our AD, chancellor, and several board of trustees members in support of our AD. Both AD and chancellor ate it up without double checking anything (even though chancellor looks up donation amounts of anyone critical of athletics). Local paper published quotes from email then retracted them when realizing the email was questionable at best. Charlotte alums then discover that “Grady David” was most likely an App fan trolling the AD (possibly in order to show support for her keeping her job).

Over/under on Grady Davis signs in Richardson Stadium next year? Are you guys keeping his name on the stadium? Will be interesting to see the shake out at there and Wofford.

clt says Grady Davis is done. Our only concern is getting Morrison settled as AD.

Morrison as in Danny? Guess Richardson is asking for more than just naming rights. You guys can do better than that. He was a below average Conference commissioner and mediocre at best GM. Why not get an up and coming college AD?

And try and distance yourselves from ole Jerry.

Morrison did a good job as ad for tcu.

He is a short term rental due to his age and he's well respected and connected in Charlotte. We need some new blood with a financial interest in Charlotte. The ideal situation for me is to being in Morrison for a few years and hire a young up and comer as associate ad.

Also have to keep in mind we still have put chancellor. He's not going to hire an egotistical person he doesn't like. I'd rather him make a mistake on a 60 something year old than a 40 something year old and get stuck in another judy rose length reign of terror.

Being an AD at the G5 level, especially one in a rebuilding mode is a young mans game.

I think niner fans are just in conservative mode given our recent history of striking out on important hires. Are there better options? Yes, probably so, but he's a safe pick to not **** things up even worse and start building things back in the right direction.
