I watched the bowl game and saw the same UCF commercial over and over again with a girl and her mother sitting in their house, weeping tears of joy as she opens her acceptance letter from UCF... and she says (through tears) "I got in!"

I had to chuckle at that...

Seriously... you have almost 60,000 students!

I'm assuming all she did was pay for the postage to mail the application, and after a routine physical where they determined she had a pulse, she met the criteria for acceptance.

The shock on her face at getting into UCF made me laugh every time.

She's just excited to go to school at the beach.

it's not funny coming from an ECU fan because their acceptance rate is like 70% and UCF's is 49% (out of 27k applications).

Dude, I could have saved you a lot of time making this post which actually is gonna have a lot chuckling at you. Why don't you do some research and get back to us after. You might wanna check incoming freshman acceptance rate compared to other state schools in florida.

Only large schools in Florida that have harder admissions are UF and Miami. USF is similiar at 47.5 and FSU is worse in the 50s. ECU, holy crap...... that's like a community college....they take all lol.

As an ECU fan I am happy for them. No complaints from me. Let them brag about their school. I know we would.

Uh... UCF isn't that easy to get into. Just because the school has a large population doesn't mean they let anyone with a pulse in.

UCF: Less than half of all applicants get in. There were more than 13,000 rejections last fall alone.

ECU: 7 in 10 applicants get in.

Their acceptance rate is lower than our's by nearly a full 1/3. Those living in glass houses and all....
